I began painting in my twenties. I studied at the Laguna Beach Art School, but was greatly influenced by my grandmother. Upon her passing, I put away both my grandmother’s brushes and my own. It would not be until December of 2014 when I found the box of brushes in the back of my attic, that I would paint again. I felt her speaking to me. I just know how happy she is seeing me at work again at my easel. My passion for expressing the intangible beauty and magic of nature has returned with abundance! Nature has a way of balancing me and keeping my perspective in check. Encouraging me along my path are fine artists, Todd Bonita of Portsmouth, NH and Don Demers of Boothbay, ME.
